Note: For the safety of our campers, you will not be able to volunteer at our camp and retreat centers if you do not have all 3 clearances.
If you have not completed the required clearances within the last 5 years follow these instructions: Procedures for Volunteer Clearances
PA State Police Criminal History Report: Done online, usually instantaneous, though it can be pending if the system is busy.
PA Child Abuse Clearance: done online, can take up to 14 days to receive email with instructions for printing certificate
FBI Criminal History Report: can register online, but must go to site locations to submit fingerprints. Can take up to 2 weeks to obtain results.
Volunteer Affidavit: can only be used for those who have continuously lived in the state of Pennsylvania for 10 years. Please note you must have this affidavit notarized for it to be complete.
First Time Volunteers :
Please complete the following paperwork and submit it to your event dean, including copies of your required clearances, at least 2 weeks prior to serving.

Returning Volunteers :
Please complete the following annual paperwork and submit it to your event dean, including copies of all up-to-date clearances, at least 2 weeks prior to serving.
If you are a new Assistance Counselor, please fill out all New Volunteer paperwork. If you are a returning Assistant Counselor, please complete the following paperwork. Anyone under the age of 18 is not required to submit clearances. Please note: Assistant Counselors are asked to register for the event in which you’re serving. The Assistant Counselor fee is equal to half of the listed price of the camp event.
Please complete the following annual paperwork and submit it to the Conference Office, including copies of all up-to-date clearances, at least 3 months prior to serving.
If you a new volunteer, please complete the First Time Volunteer paperwork in addition to the following annual paperwork and submit it to your event dean, including copies of your up-to-date clearances, at least 2 weeks prior to serving.
A photocopy of your nursing license.
